Baltimore Airport Terminal Map Guide

BWI Airport has a main terminal that features 5 concourses – A, B, C, D, and E. As you move through the terminal, you will observe that the airport’s terminal is a U-shaped facility that has a parking garage installed at the center. In contrast, the airport road network and ground transportation are located around it, as shown in the BWI Airport Terminal map given below:

The terminal building has two levels – an upper level and a lower level. The upper level, the departure section, features ticketing desks, check-in counters, and security checkpoints. You can access the upper level through the curbside elevators at lower levels, or walk through the skywalk bridges from the hourly parking garages. The upper level features four security checkpoints.

Navigating BWI Airport

Now you know that the main terminal is segregated into upper level and lower level. Here’s the overview of all services and amenities listed on the BWI Airport map:

Entrance Points

• Main Entrance: Located in front of the terminal building along Aviation Boulevard.
• Upper Level: This is a dedicated zone for departures with the airline’s check-in counters and security checkpoints located here.

• Drop-Off Areas: It is located on the Departures/Upper Level roadway.

• Bus Stops: The bus stand for BWI Express/B30 is located on the lower level of the International Pier and Concourse A/B.

• Check-in counters: Located on the ticketing level on the main terminal.

• Self-service check-in kiosk: At the Ticketing Level (Upper Level) of the Main Terminal, Near Baggage Drop Areas and near airline gates.

The departure areas at BWI Airport are spread across five concourses A, B, C, D, and E. Each concourse caters to the different airlines and destinations:

• Main Terminal: Located next to the ticketing area on the Upper Level and Baggage Claim on the Lower Level.
